Description
Pre-registration is the process of specifying key study details and decisions, such as hypotheses and analysis plans, before conducting the research. The main goal of preregistering a study is to make it easier for future readers—and yourself!—to distinguish between what you planned to do (i.e., confirmation) and what you discovered along the way (i.e., exploration). In this webinar, Dr. Rosen will share information about when, where, why and how to pre-register. She does not identify as an expert in pre-registration, but will happily share what she has learned over the last 5+ years since she began implementing it into her regular research practice. There will be lots of time for Q&A and discussion.
