Describe your research project in a few lines.
My thesis focuses on the concept of thriving in a sports context among young athletes. I aim to examine performance and well-being profiles, as well as the factors that influence them, among young people who participated in the 2025 Quebec Games.
Can you share with us a memorable moment or experience from your academic journey?
It’s not the moments themselves, but rather the people I meet. Whether they’re students in class, in a research lab, or at a conference, or the professors who mentor and support me. It is they who enrich every moment and make my academic journey truly memorable.
What is the most challenging aspect of your research or studies, and how do you overcome it?
It’s a happy problem to have, but I find that the hardest part is saying no to opportunities. I’d love to dive into everything that interests me and always say yes. However, that’s not realistic. So, to try to address this, I prioritize certain tasks and practice saying no. I’m also learning to recognize my own worth, even though I’m still a student, and I seize opportunities that reflect that worth as well.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I like to take time for life’s little pleasures (coffee, walks, reading), work out, and spend time with my friends and family.
