Describe your research project in a few lines.
My research project seeks to identify the factors that affect psychophysiological stress levels in young adult survivors of intimate partner violence. The project is divided into two parts: initially, a scoping review was conducted to identify trends in the literature and potential moderators; subsequently, participants in the PRÉSAJ longitudinal study will be invited to the laboratory to perform a stress-inducing task while their psychophysiological responses to stress are measured.
Can you share with us a memorable moment or experience from your academic journey?
My acceptance into the doctoral program in psychology remains a memorable moment!
What is the most challenging aspect of your research or studies, and how do you overcome it?
The most difficult task since I began my PhD has been to clearly define each aspect of my research project and accept that I cannot know everything, especially at this stage of my journey. To integrate the vast amount of knowledge and learn as much as possible, to ensure the quality of my project, I make sure I am well organized, remain curious, and read as much as possible about my field of research.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy reading, practicing various sports (yoga, climbing, running, pilates, etc.) and drawing, all in the company of my loved ones and my cat!
